NOTA DEL DIRECTOR/DIRECTOR'S NOTE
El pequeño Bell nació como una sencilla práctica de stop motion en casa: una historia simple, con escenarios de cartón y un personaje extremadamente básico hecho de plastilina. Fueron 48 horas intensas de trabajo en las que, junto a Crystal Ortega, pusimos mucho entusiasmo, energía y, sobre todo, cariño, a pesar de que el proyecto quedó en pausa durante más de 10 años.
En aquel entonces, su primer corte se realizó en formato NTSC. En 2024, al encontrar los archivos originales en un viejo y sucio DVD de datos, decidimos restaurarlo en resolución 2K para finalmente compartirlo con el mundo.
En esta versión definitiva, incluimos una secuencia perdida de la película, incorporando el render original como homenaje al primer Bell. La edición estuvo a cargo de Luis Flores, quien retomó cuadro por cuadro las secuencias, devolviéndole vida tras una década en la oscuridad.

Little Bell began as a simple stop-motion exercise made at home: a straightforward story with cardboard sets and an extremely simple Plasticine character. Over the course of 48 intense hours, Crystal Ortega and I poured our enthusiasm, energy, and, above all, our affection into the project, even though it remained unfinished and sat on the shelf for more than ten years.
At the time, the film's first cut was completed in the NTSC format. In 2024, after discovering the original files on an old, dust-covered data DVD, we decided to restore the film in 2K resolution and finally share it with the world.
For this definitive version, we restored a previously lost sequence, preserving its original render as a tribute to the very first Bell. The new edit was completed by Luis Flores, who revisited the film frame by frame, bringing it back to life after more than a decade in the dark.
